Congress has decided that their case against the president was so amazing the first time that they should do it again. Today Congress took a vote to officially mulligan the first impeachment. The vote again was on party lines.
Adam Schiff said, “This is a huge win for Democracy everywhere, by taking this Mulligan we can present our case again.” Schiff went on to say, “The evidence was so overwhelming the first time that they don’t need to change anything on the second round.”
Nancy Pelosi said, “Our team did such a great Job the first time but this time we are going to bring in a 5 year old as our lead counsel.” As Pelosi explains it 5-year old’s connect well with republicans as they are on the same intelligence level. It was revealed that the 5-year-old has yet to be chosen and focus groups will determine the best choice.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke at length to the media arguing that she has the intelligence level of a 5-year old. It appears even if that is true, the Democrats appear to want to distance themselves from her. I have a feeling she will find a way to pick herself up by her bootstraps in the end.
The Mulligan is expected to make it through the senate as they all enjoy playing golf and understand the need for a Mulligan from time to time.
