Charleston, SC – In a recent interview Joe Biden was asked about his comments regarding his supposed arrest in South Africa. On a trip to South Africa he claimed was arrested as he attempted to visit Nelson Mandela in prison.

Joe Biden said “I had the great honor of meeting him. I had the great honor of being arrested by Lying Dog Face Pony Soldiers with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens Island.”

Andrew Young, who was the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations at the time, said in a phone interview that “No, I was never arrested and I don’t think he (Joe Biden) was, either. And what the (expletive) is a Dog Face Pony Soldier?” When asked directly what is a Dog Face Pony Soldier? Biden replied with a vague reference to Scranton, PA and his Catholic Upbringing.
