In a new tweet today, just one day after announcing he is running for president, Kanye West announced he is running for pope.
We must now realize the promise of the world by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for pope of the Roman Catholic Church! #2020VISION
This might not bode well for Pope Francis for several reasons. However, it may be hard for Kanye to get on the list. If there even is an election it would require a vacancy. Also Popes are required to be priests and usually are celibate 2 things Kanye is not known to be at this point.
