The Supreme Count of the United States, in a 7-2 ruling, has voted that The Little Sisters of the Poor can choose not to cover birth control in their health insurance plans. Now plans won’t cover lung cancer causing cigarettes or breast cancer causing pills. Many are left wondering why the court doesn’t understand that carcinogens are necessary health care. Others say they must hate women especially smokin nuns.
This leaves celibate 70-year old nuns to pay for their own recreational carcinogens. Some are concerned. How will the nuns be able to pay for cigarettes and birth control on their own dime?
Planned Parenthood expects a slight increase in the religious clientele. The Left will tell you with the health plan not covering the pill, it will certainly lead to more abortions. They will say of course abstinence doesn’t work(even for nuns).
